How to Rat (Kill vega's)

For those of you new, there is a few tricks to killing vega's, a few builds you want to get, a few things you want to do when engaging them, and lastly a few things you want to work toward, to farming them with ease!


The first step is a basic harrier set up, Vega's at level 35 can be killed with a single harrier fleet, but you need to know the secrets behind it, and how to make it possible.


Harrier set up you want

Spec Shield III
Beam II X 2
Iridium armor 1 or 2 (depending on boosters)
Rear thrusters, or increase beam range is great.



Engaging

after starting, your immediate action is to kite the two fast frigates, and cruiser away from the battleship and destroyer. Then kill them, after doing that, you come to dealing with the nearest target, the battleship.

How to approach the battleship

take one out of the remaining ships (should be 5 or 6 left) and run it from west to east (or the other way around depending on what side he is on) he will turn to chase this single ship, moving his arc away from the remaining 4-5, and will expose his rear blind spot to this ship, this will allow the remaining ships to attack with out taking damage.

Then take 2 of the remaining ships, front to back (single file line) and strafe into the destroyers and kill them.


If you do this correctly it will only take 1 harrier fleet to kill a 35 vega!


What to work for

You can set up battleships, to instantly repair, and solo (with out your control) level 33 vega's.
This what you should work for, as soon as possible.

That Harrier set up is impossible... for me at least.

It is over weight with Spec III, Beam II x 2 and Irid I, and there is no slot for thrusters or whatever at all.

Am I missing something??????

Harriers do not have thrusters.

The highest HP b uild for harrier is 4 minutes 39 seconds repair time (Each)
